2022 EQS Sedan Feature Highlights

While it isn’t slated to release until the tail-end of 2021, Mercedes-Benz has begun to go public with a few EQS interior and performance highlights. Niagara-on-the-Lake drivers can expect their Mercedes-Benz EQS to feature a long list of technological marvels. Take a look at some of our most anticipated features:

  • EQS Hyperscreen: 56 inches of curved touch-screen glass encompasses the entirety of your dashboard, spanning from the far left of the driver’s side to the far right of the passenger’s. Three screens seamlessly flow into one another, then flow out and blend into the materials of your cabin. A zero-layer interface does away with sub-folders, so you won’t have to scroll to find what you’re looking for.
  • MBUX: Mercedes-Benz’s new infotainment system makes use of Natural Language Understanding technologies. Essentially, you’ll no longer have to memorize voice commands to navigate your apps hands-free. The AI in your MBUX software can learn the natural speech patterns. Just say “Hey, Mercedes” to prompt the system, and talk as you normally would.
  • Next Generation 107.8 kWh Lithium-ion Battery: The new Mercedes-Benz EQS battery will be able to charge up in just 31 minutes when plugged into a DC fast charger. The EQS 450+ trim will be able to achieve 329 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque and go from 0-100 km in just 5.5 seconds. Step up to the EQS 580, and you’ll enjoy 516 hp and 611 lb-ft of torque with 0-100 km in just 4.1 seconds.

Other notable features include wireless charging, Active High-beam Assist, a DIGITAL LIGHT intelligent lighting system, an Airmatic Air Suspension, doors that automatically open and shut, and so much more! We can’t wait to show you the 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS has to offer.
